2007 mustang super snake for sale, out on our dynojet and see who comes out ontop. it should be mentioned that these are all customer cars who drive these cars onthe street regularly, could we have gone to our local speed shop or something like thatand picked up a 1500 horsepower monster? sure, but where's the fun in that? all these carsare in the same ballpark power wise, so it
should make for a really interesting day.we've introduced a new rule that should keep the drama levels up and make it very interestingwhen it's all said and done. so with that said let's go inside, go over those rules,and get it going. alright fellas, as for the rules, keeping things a little different thisyear as we said, so we're going to do a little blackjack approach to a dyno run, you have30 minutes, firm, there's no bending the rules on that, you get up, you do a dyno pull, let'sjust say you lay down 600, you can stay on that if you want, however, if you hit or decideto make another run, you're essentially throwing out that first run and you're stuck with thesecond run, so could be good, could be bad, could go up, obviously could go down, heatis a factor, position is a factor so we're
going to do a numbers draw here, to see whogoes first, there is a wild card so whoever grabs a wild card can kind of choose wherethey want to go, guys, let the games begin, good luck to you, and here's to big horsepower,huh. alright, zach drew the wild card, he figured it would be a better idea to comein early and beat the heat, so we'll see if it pays off. zach, tell us a little more aboutyour 04 cobra and where you're from, man. zach: i'm from south virginia. justin: whatyou expecting to put down today? zach: i don't know, hopefully over 600, 615, 620, we'llsee though, it's a little bit hot. justin: only one way to find out, let's get to it.zach: i've made 5, 584, 590 before so i'm going to try to get it to cool down, see ifwe can get some more numbers out of it. justin:
alright, zach just finished off the secondrun, he had about a minute left but he had a change of heart, you're not going to doanother run? zach: yeah, it's not like it was cutting it close, 582 is a pretty goodnumber. alright so james in his 05 gt just laid down 603 horsepower and 615 ft/lbs oftorque, with his built motor, e-force supercharger, and about 16 or so pounds. james: i feel good,but it's got more in it, and i'm going to put some more timing in it, and i have a feelingthat should pick it up. justin: nice, you got about 15 minutes or so left, you thinkthat's enough time to get it done? james: yeah. justin: awesome, man. alright jameshas 2 â½ minutes left, he made 607, 627, so you definitely went up, do you want to pressyou luck? james: no i already bumped the timing
up, so really i don't think i can make anymore, it's not bad but there's still plenty of cars left. brett: my name's brett, fromnew hampshire. it has a stroker 5.0 in it, a vortech t trim and a water injection kitput on. justin: brett made a game time decision, instead of waiting another 10 minutes, he'sactually going to run it now. brett: man. i think the brakes are catching so i'm unpluggingthe abs sensors and we're going to give it one more shot. justin: 439, 438, obviouslywe have some issues, right man? brett: unfortunately yeah, it's not running right so we decidedas a group to just get out of it, take it home, fix it. justin: alright, we're morethan halfway through here at mustang mayhem, we had our first small issue today, checkingit with mike j here from bama, mike what happened
with that last car? mike: basically, it lookedlike it had some fuel problems, and i think he made a good decision to just back off onit, and pull out. justin: alright, we're here with our number 4 contestant, shaun, and hisobviously crowd pleasing 2012 gt500 super snake. shaun, tell us a little more aboutwhere you're from, and of course that beautiful ride. shaun: i'm from bourbon county, newjersey. justin: shaun, you just pretty much laid down the smack on the rest of the fieldright now, 655, 555, we have 25 minutes left, you can just chill, sit back, kick back, oryou can push your luck a little bit but keep in mind if you go backward, you're hurtingyourself, so, you're confident this is going to make more? shaun: yeah, i think so, i thinki've got ample time to cool it off enough
.justin: alright, shaun just finished offhis second run, he literally has a minute left man, you good with that number, or yougoing to press your luck one more time? shaun: i'm pretty happy with what i got, that's rightaround what i was expecting. justin: ok, 667 is the final number, overall you gotta behappy. the 5th car in mustang mayhem is currently pulling in now, it's an 09 gt500 with a bitold tvs blower on it. shannon, tell us a little more about your 09 gt500, basically mods andwhere you guys have come in from. shannon: we're coming from chicago, illinois. the gt500has a 2.3 tvs supercharger, long tube headers, cold air intake which i just purchased heretoday and installed in the lot. justin: shannon, what are your power expectations for todayin the 09? shannon: i'm hoping for at least
650 at the rear. justin: so shannon's 09 gt500with the big tvs has just put down 646 for its first run, shannon, what do you think,you going to make a few changes and get that extra 20 you need? shannon: a few, hopefullywe're going to get there. justin: it's going to be close, regardless, and that's what welike. alright we're here with shannon and alison and the gt500 just put down 651, man,so close. shannon: i think it could have done better but it was too hot. justin: alright,we're here with our 6th and final car here at mustang mayhem, owner jon, brand new 2014gt500, literally just rolled off the lot, tell us a little bit about the car and yourself,sir. jon: the car i just got two days ago, it's got about 200 miles on it so it is brandnew, hoping to make around 600, it does have
a tune on it so it might make 610, 615 butother than that it's stock. justin: alright, jon just finished his first run where he putdown a very respectable 619, for an otherwise stock car with a tune, jon you happy withthe numbers so far? jon: pretty happy, i think it's got a little more left in it, going tocool it off with the fans a little bit, kind of been the strategy of everyone here withthe shelbys to get the heat out of them. justin: alright, everyone's out here to watch thelast run of the day here at mustang mayhem, looks like jon's ready to make his last pullwith only 5 minutes left, hopefully he can better his number, guess there's only oneway to find out. alright so jon just finished off his last run with just about a minuteleft, he made 629 and picked up some great
