many guests into believing it was just a veryrealistic prop… until 1976 when an episode of “the six million dollar man†was beingshot in the funhouse. when a prop man went to move elmer, the armbroke off, revealing nothing but muscle and bone. 5. snakes in a house a family moved into their dream house in idaho,not realizing that it was sitting on a den of garter snakes. the snakes would be everywhere – insideand outside. during the night, while lying in bed, they would hear the sounds of thesnakes slithering in the walls. the tap water
would taste like the musky smell of the snakes.one day, the husband killed 42 of them. eventually the family moved out. 4. living behind a bookshelf while playing, two boys made a surprisingdiscovery – there was a secret passageway behind a bookshelf in one of the bedrooms. not knowing what they would find but drivenby curiosity, the boys entered the tight space. they came across a spiral staircase whichlead into nothing but the unknown. climbing down, halfway towards the bottom, the boyssaw a small crawlspace. the crawlspace lead into a slightly-larger space. this is whenthey made a creepy discovery – someone was
living within their walls! the unknown squatter wasn’t there, but his(or her) various belongings still were. an elephant carving, some creepy dolls, and whatappeared to be a skeleton key were found. candy wrappers were strewn all over. it washalloween candy that one of the boys had in his bedroom, making it evident that the mysterioussquatter wasn’t staying down there all the time. 3. playground razors an illinois toddler’s fun at a local playgroundwas ruined when he cut himself on a razor blade. it wasn’t an accident, though. therewere at least a dozen razor blades glued to
various pieces of playground equipment. the chilling discovery was made after thetoddler’s father took him home and called the police. no suspects have been found inconnection with the sadistic prank, and a copycat case was discovered in delaware. fortunately, the cut the toddler receivedwasn’t serious. 2. the mysterious case of elisa lam the parents of canadian tourist elisa lamreported her missing. she was last seen at the cecil hotel in los angeles, acting erratically.surveillance footage from inside an elevator at the hotel showed elisa boarding it andpushing buttons, looking around nervously.
she even stepped off the elevator to lookaround more before disappearing. later that month, guests noticed somethingwrong with the water. it tasted strange, came out black upon first turning the faucet handle,and at times barely came out. what was wrong with the water? a maintenanceworker at the hotel looked in one of the water tanks and saw elisa’s floating, decomposingcorpse. to this day, the disappearance and death ofelisa lam remains a mystery. authorities don’t even know how she died. or even how she endedup in that water tank. 1. invincible bacteria if a person develops a bacterial infectionthat is antibiotic-resistant, then there is
